the reflects the geometric shapes of the highly detailed
interior and glowing stained glass windows .

again what a powerful interplay the quilts the sanctuary the stained glass the wood....the story of escape...freedom lost...freedom bargained for against such a powerful backdrop....

I was overwhelmed by the history of the place and the fact that it is not a well known historical site in Philly. Sanford Biggers created work which addressed history and a subtle intervention within the site.
